While in Tucson in early 2020, Jonathan Stone of Studio Mineralia had the opportunity to photograph this remarkable specimen of a small cluster of pentagonite crystals that had supported the growth of cubic calcite crystals. It sits atop miniature heulandite on a basalt matrix.
The specimen was discovered in 2012 at the notable Wagholi Quarries, in Pune, Maharashtra, India, and is featured on Mindat.
